By booking or using Thistlegate Notary Office services, you agree to the following terms.

Scope of service

We provide notarial acts — witnessing signatures, administering oaths, certifying copies — plus apostille handling and starter templates. We are not a law firm and our services are not legal advice; where a matter requires counsel, we will say so.

Fees and cancellation

Fees are quoted upfront and fixed before work begins. You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before an appointment for a full refund. If a signing cannot legally proceed, the notarial fee is refunded in full.

Your responsibilities

You must present valid, unexpired identification for every signer, bring documents unsigned where witnessing is required, and confirm that you understand the contents of what you sign.

Limitation

Our liability for any matter is limited to the fees paid for that matter. Government filing decisions and third-party acceptance remain outside our control, though our pre-checks keep rejections exceptionally rare.
