Thistlegate Notary Office collects only the information needed to perform notarisation and serve you: your name, contact details, identification particulars, and the documents you ask us to witness or authenticate.

How we use it

Your information is used to verify identity, complete notarial certificates, maintain the journals and archives the law requires, process payment, and contact you about your matter. We never sell personal data.

Required record-keeping

State law obliges notaries to keep journals of every notarial act, including signer identity details, for a period of years. These records are disclosed only as the law requires — for example, to a court order — and are otherwise kept confidential.
